Alamo Square

Located in the Western Addition , It is bordered by Hayes Street to the south, Fulton Street to the north, Scott Street to the west, and Steiner Street to the east.

Alamo Square Park consists of four city blocks at the top of a hill overlooking much of San Francisco, with a number of large and architecturally distinctive mansions along the perimeter.


Alta Plaza

In the top of the western edge of Pacific Heights.  It falls under the jurisdiction of the City’s Supervisorial District 2.

Bounded by Scott, Clay, Jackson and Steiner Streets, the park is blessed with breathtaking views and bordered by vigilant, protective residents. In 1938, with help from the city attorney, Alta Plaza neighbors were able to block tentative plans to sell the park and use the money for other recreational projects.

Balboa  Park

It is a neighborhood and public park in San francisco, California.  It is located between Mission Street and Interstate 280 north of Geneva Avenue and the park is located on San Jose Avenue. Inside of the park there is a public swimming pool, a children’s playground, a stadium, baseball diamonds, tennis courts and the Ingleside police station.

Bernal Heights Hill

It is a hill in San Francisco, California the neighborhood of Bernal Heights. The neighborhood is primarily residential, with a commercial strip along Cortland Avenue featuring restaurants, a bookstore, a bakery, a video store, a grocery store, a wine and beer store, cafes and bars. The local branch of the  San Francisco Public Library at 500 Cortland was built by Frederick Myers with funding from the Works Progress Administration and dedicated in 1940. After closing for nearly two years for renovations, the library reopened in January, 2010.

Mission Dolores Park

Formerly know as Mission Park is San Francisco, California, city park located in the neighborhood of Mission Dolores , at the western edge of the Mission District, which lies to the east of the park. To the west of the park is a hillside referred to the Castro neighborhood. It is bounded by 18th Street on the north, 20th Street to the south, Dolores Street to the east and Church Street to the west.

Golden Gate Park

Located in San Francisco, California, is a large urban park consisting of 1,017 acres of public grounds. Configured as a rectangle, it is similar in shape but 20% larger than Central Park in New York. With 13 million visitors annually, Golden Gate is the third most visited city park in the United States.

It is a freshwater lake in the southwest corner of San Francisco, California. It is surrounded by three golf courses and residential areas, Lowell High School, San Francisco State University,  Fort Funston and the Pacific Ocean.
