GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE

The Golden Gate connects the city of San Francisco with Marin County. The bridge was completed in 1937, and has become an internationally recognized symbol of San Francisco and California. The color is well know and International orange.

CABLE CARS

The San Francisco cable car system is the world’s last permanently operational manually-operated cable car system, and is an icon of San Francisco. Cable cars operate on two routes from downtown near Union Square to Fisherman’s Wharf, and a third route along California Street.

ALCATRAZ

Often referred to as The Rock, the small island early-on served as a lighthouse, a military fortification, a military prison, and a Federal Bureau of Prisons federal prison until 1963. Later, in 1972, Alcatraz became a national recreation area and received landmarking designations in 1976 and 1986.

FISHERMAN’S WHARF

One of the busiest and well known tourist attractions in North America, there are many attractions as Pier 39, San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, the Cannery Shopping Center, Ghirardelli Square, a Ripley’s Believe it or Not museum, the Musée Mécanique, the Wax Museum at Fisherman’s Wharf, Forbes Island and many restaurants that serve fresh seafood, most notably crab and clam chowder served in sourdough bread bowl.

CHINATOWN

One of the largest chines community in Unites States, it is one of the major attractions in San Francisco, their restaurants and shops make this place one of the top tourist attraction.
