Fillmore Street Jazz Festival – July First Week

Summertime and Independence Day are celebrated along 11 blocks of San Francisco’s Fillmore Street (between Jackson and Eddy) as jazz pulsates from three stages. The Fillmore Jazz Festival is a two-day celebration in a very special jazz neighbourhood.

Folsom Street Fair –  Last Sunday September

The Folsom Street Fair is a true San Francisco original. With over 400,000 people in attendance covering 13 city blocks, the Fair is the largest leather/fetish event in the world and the third largest, single-day outdoor event in California. .


Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival

The 15th Annual Ghirardelli Square Chocoalte Festival will take place on Saturday, September 11 and Sunday, September 12, 12:00-5:00pm.

Sample all sorts of chocolate products from all over the United States.  In addition to chocolate sampling, activities include Chef Demontrations, the Famous Ice Cream Eating Contest, Live Music, Children’s Entertainment.

Independence Day- 4th July

Exotic Erotic Ball

The Exotic Erotic Ball (often referred to as The Ball or Perry Mann’s Exotic Erotic Ball is held annually around Halloween time (usually the weekend before Halloween Night) in the San Francisco Bay Area of California and is the longest-running public adult-themed event in the world.

Pride Celebration Parade

San Francisco throws one of the more colorful and prominent  gay Pride festivals in the world, with the key events taking place over the last weekend in June (on June 26 to June 27 in 2010).


St. Patrick’s Day Parade March 13

The 158th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in San Francisco is a well established event with historic ties to the city. The parade itself is a huge draw for attendees from all different demographics and ethnicity.

Carnaval May 29th & 30th

Carnaval San Francisco is an annual street parade and festival. It was founded by a large group of visionary artists brought together by percussionist Marcus Gordon, dancer Adela Chu, and costume designer Pam Minor in 1979 who came together in Precita Park to celebrate living a rich cultural life in tune with the rhythms of nature and the ancestors. The following year the second Carnaval San Francisco was held in the Mission District’s Dolores Park. Since 1979, the Carnaval has been the central event for many thousands of artists who spend hundreds of hours each year getting ready for the Sunday parade.

Castro Street Fair – October 3

The Fair is located in the heart of San Francisco’s Castro District, at the intersection of Market & Castro Streets and the surrounding area.

The Castro Street Fair is a community street celebration that was founded by Harvey Milk in 1974. Hundreds of local artists, vendors, craftspeople, and organizations line the streets and celebrate the diversity of the neighborhood. Stages with live entertainment and dance pavilions can be found throughout the fairgrounds.

    Hello! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any problems with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing months of hard work due to no data backup. Do you have any methods to protect against hackers?
